Crazy Hats Fundraising Event

Last weekend, Dan was the magician at a ‘Champagne and Diamonds Evening’ raising money for breast cancer care in Northamptonshire.

Dan performed close-up magic around the tables at the event. It was organised by the Crazy Hats Appeal.


Dan Helps with Training at Sheffield Hallam

Dan was invited to help provide a team building training session at Sheffield Hallam University this week.

The session incorporated magic into fun activities to help promote teamwork and enhance problem solving and lateral thinking skills.

Dan was invited to perform close-up magic at An Evening With Barrie Stephens – a charity event in aid of Project Nairobi held at The Case restaurant in Leicester.

Article in ‘Totally Marlow’ Society Magazine

Dan appeared in the ‘People’ section of Totally Marlow Society Magazine after performing close-up magic for the Vantis PLC annual summer reception at the Compleat Angler, Marlow, Oxford.

The article included a great picture of the back of Dan’s head – not necessarily his best side, but publicity hungry magicians can’t be choosers.

Christmas Parties

Dan is now almost fully booked up for December (Friday and Saturday nights), mainly with Christmas parties.

Dan has had a lot of hits on his Christmas Party page through September and October, so maybe that’s the time when most people look to book entertainment for Christmas.


Leicester Magic Circle Presidents Night

October 29, 2006

Dan was invited to perform close-up magic at the Leicester Magic Circle Presidents Night. He visited the tables presenting close-up magic to the audience and was very well received.

The magical entertainment was a great success with the audience also enjoying a cabaret performance by Geoffrey Durham.

Unfortunately, the venue let the leicester Magic Circle down, with poor organisation and food.
